Secondary abstract: The present work focuses on gap acceptance methodology. Its main parameters are critical gap and follow up time. The goal of this work is to estimate those two parameters. Follow up time can be directly measured on the field, while critical gap can not be measured. It can be estimated by one of many different methodologies. Here is used maximum likelihood method as most suitable one. Input data in this procedure are measured accepted gap and measured largest rejected gap for each driver separately. Those two gaps are extracted out with video analysis. At the end of this work the values of extracted parameters are verified by a computer program aaSidra 2.0.

Abstract (ePrints): V diplomski nalogi je predstavljena metodologija sprejemljivega razmaka. Njena glavna parametra sta kritični razmak in čas sledenja. Cilj naloge je določitev vrednosti teh dveh parametrov. Čas sledenja lahko neposredno izmerimo na terenu, medtem ko kritičnega razmaka ne moremo kar izmeriti. Lahko ga določimo po eni od številnih metod. Kot najustreznejša je metoda največjega verjetja, zato je uporabljena tudi v tej nalogi. Vhodna podatka pri tem postopku sta opazovani sprejeti razmak in največji zavrnjeni razmak za vsakega posameznega voznika v vzorcu. Velikosti teh razmakov je določena z analizo video posnetka.
