Secondary title: Supplementing of GPS Track Web Database
Secondary abstract: The graduation thesis introduces supplementing of a web site, that offers free published GPS tracks of mountaineering, cycling ways and tour skiing. Database and user interface of the web site are supplemented with intention of efficient use of stored data, accessibility of descriptive datasets and user friendliness. Thesis describes basic features and use of free web technologies, on which web site is based upon. From acquisition to publication, GPS tracks are subjected to different procedures of data processing. Therefore a part of thesis is assigned to derivation and comparison of four different mathematical methods for calculation of elevation of a GPS track point. For the most efficient method turned out to be the simplest, linear method.
