Secondary abstract: |
It is very important to discover talented children in the preschool period and dedicating special attention working with them. This is the theme of this thesis. In the theoretical part is presented giftedness, what giftedness is and what kind of needs gifted children have. Presented are themes: detection and characteristic of gifted children. Special emphasis is dedicated to working with gifted, what are the basic principals, methods of work and what kind of influence have home environment and kindergarten, which are very important factors of success and failure. Term of empirical research is to establish how pre-school teacher work with gifted children and how much they stimulate development of their potential. For this purpose we prepared questionnaire for pre-school teacher.
We discovered that pre-school teachers are aware of their role in identification and work with gifted children. Results showed that pre-school teacher are willing to work with gifted children in pre-school. |

Zelo pomembno je, da nadarjene otroke odkrijemo že v predšolskem obdobju in da posvetimo dodatno pozornost delu z njimi. Prav to je tema diplomske naloge. V teoretičnem delu je najprej predstavljena nadarjenost kaj sploh je nadarjenost in kakšne potrebe imajo nadarjeni otroci. Predstavljeni sta tudi temi: prepoznavanje nadarjenih otrok in značilnosti nadarjenih otrok. Poseben poudarek je namenjen delu z nadarjenimi otroki, kakšna so temeljna načela, metode dela ter kako na razvoj nadarjenih vplivata domače okolje in vrtec, ki sta zelo pomembna dejavnika njihovega uspeha ali neuspeha. Cilj empirične raziskave je ugotoviti, kako vzgojitelji v vrtcu delajo z nadarjenimi otroki in v kolikšni meri spodbujajo razvoj njihovega potenciala. V ta namen je bil sestavljen vprašalnik za vzgojitelje.
Ugotovili smo, da se vzgojitelji in pomočniki vzgojiteljev zavedajo lastne vloge pri odkrivanju in delu z nadarjenimi otroki in kažejo pripravljenost za delo z njimi že v predšolskem obdobju. |
