Secondary abstract:	In my final paper issues of abortion are presented from various starting points with the emphasies on presentation and research of support given to a woman being confronted with making a decision on abortion. At the beginning abortion legislation in Slovenia is explained and social aspect including various opinions about the problem is given. I explore a possition of a woman moving to motherhood or deciding on abortion. Possible situations linked to her decision-making and therefore additionally burdening her are also mentioned. Attention is directed to various aspects of assistance and support to a woman in such a situation. Besides counselling before abortion, maternal homes, adoption alternative, various organizations helping people move to parenthood are also available. I payed attention to a situation of decision-making also in my research work. Speaking to nine people professionally involved in work with women considering abortion I discovered how they themselves see the situation of women, their own role in counselling before abortion and what dillemas they encounter in their work.

Abstract (ePrints):	V nalogi je predstavljena problematika splava z različnih izhodišč, s poudarkom na predstavitvi in raziskovanju podpore, ki se lahko nudi ženski v situaciji, ko se odloča glede splava. Na začetku je predstavljena pravna ureditev splava v Sloveniji, nato družbeni vidik, ki vsebuje tudi različna stališča ljudi do te problematike. V nadaljevanju sem se dotaknila situacije ženske na prehodu v materinstvo in v položaju, ko se odloča o splavu. Opisala sem tudi situacije, ki so lahko povezane z njenim odločanjem in jo zato dodatno bremenijo. Pozornost sem usmerila v različne vidike podpore, ki se lahko nudijo ženski. Poleg svetovanja pred splavom lahko ženski pomagajo tudi materinski domovi, obstaja možnost posvojitve otroka, obstajajo tudi različne organizacije, ki nudijo podporo ljudem v prehodu v starševstvo. Podpori v situaciji odločanja sem namenila pozornost tudi v raziskovalnem delu. V pogovoru z devetimi ljudmi, pretežno so to strokovnjaki/nje, ki se v svojem poklicnem delu srečujejo z ženskami, ki se odločajo o splavu, sem ugotavljala, kako sami vidijo njihovo situacijo, kako vidijo svojo vlogo v svetovanju pred splavom in s kakšnimi dilemami se srečujejo pri svojem delu.
