Secondary abstract:	Counseling is a form of helping people and one of the social pedagogic work areas. In Koroška region it can be devided into three areas: school counseling area, area of social work centers and area of counseling in community health centers. There are also non-governmental organizations which are more oriented into specific target groups, like mental health and addiction areas. This diploma paper is describing counseling from a theoretical point of view. The empirical part covers three half-structured interviews with experts, who are working as counselors in Koroška region.

Abstract (ePrints):	Svetovalno delo je vrsta pomoči ter eno izmed področij dela socialnih pedagogov. Področje svetovalnega dela na Koroškem lahko razdelimo na področje šolske svetovalne službe, področje centrov za socialno delo ter področje svetovanja in terapije v okviru psihohigienskih dispanzerjev v zdravstvenih domovih. Tukaj so tudi nevladne organizacije, ki pa so usmerjene v specifične cilje skupine, kot sta na primer področje duševnega zdravja ali zasvojenosti. Pričujoče diplomsko delo s teoretičnega vidika prikaže področje svetovalnega dela. Empiričen del je kvalitativen in zajema tri delno strukturirane intervjuje s strokovnimi delavkami, ki delajo na področju svetovanja na Koroškem.
