Secondary abstract:	The basic database of road axis elements is managed in an attribute database, called Bank of road axis data. With its own system of road segments and stationariness it is also a universal encipher, which enables collection and management of road's data. Lately a transfer to a geographic information system (GIS) was performed, but the data model has remained the same. Some attributes are therefore tightly related with the position of road axis. It dictates very specific managment logic of geographical road axis database. Usage of commercial GIS programmes takes up a good deal of time, because they don't support an automatic dynamic definition of attributes. Therefore, we developed a strictly devoted application for managment of road axis data. For this, we took into consideration the entire Methodology of capturing and managment of country roads. This document was initiated through a research development project by a Direction RS for roads, which is also a manager of country roads.
