Secondary abstract: With the intention of modelling distortions of coordinate systems in geodesy, the most frequently used procedures of transformations of coordination systems are presented in this diploma work. As in geodesy we perform transformations between coordinate systems that are not of equal quality, we use for the transformation of coordinate systems the adjustment of the transformation. The results of the adjustment of the transformation are the transformation parameters and residuals that is deviations of coordinates of points in the target coordinate system. The deviation of points coordinates occure because of gross errors in points coordinates, systematic error sources at points coordinates determination and random influences on the point’s coordinates. In the first part, the basic procedures of the transformation of the coordinate systems in geodesy are presented. In the second part the thesis deals with treating the effects on the size and direction of deviations as it treats the differences in results as per the method of the transformation, the size of the area of transformation, the number of common points and the impact of the height of common points. Some attention is given to locating points with gross and systematic errors in points coordinates. In the third part the thesis attempts to set models of points coordinates residuals that would make possible the “optimal” determination of coordinates in an arbitrary point of the area. The goal of modelling the residuals is the inclusion of points coordinates from the old system into the new one, without affecting the quality of coordinates in the new system.
