Secondary title: Quarry development feasibility study
Secondary abstract: In the graduation thesis a feasibility study of investment in a quarry is developed. The feasibility study is a key analysis performed in the early stages of a project development, due to the fact that the impact of decisions on final costs and benefits, and economic efficiency of the project is strongest at this early stage of the project development. The feasibility analysis is following the procedure which is for public subjects determined by the Decree on common methodology for the preparation of investment documentation, which is identified as non- obligatory, but suitable methodology for other subjects as well. For the purpose of identification of the best investment decision three different scenarios were evaluated: no-investment decsion, development of own quarry, and takeover of a company with existing quarry. Among listed options the investment into development of the new quarry was analyzed with more detail, with unceartainty evaluation. Beside the described listed analysis of investment options the thesis contain also general description of the investment process, methods of the investment analysis as net present value and internal rate of return and general methodological approach applied.

Abstract (ePrints): V diplomskem delu je izdelana presoja investicije v kamnolom.
