Secondary title: Integration of motion and mathematical content in kindergarten
Secondary abstract: The thesis presents child integrated development through different aspects of development, like physical, movement, cognitive, emotional and social development. If we know the child development characteristics and abilities from theoretical side, than it is easier to plan activities for children in kindergarten and the activities themselves are also more quality planned. In continuance the theoretical part of thesis covers cross-sectoral links in kindergarten. More detailed are mathematics and movement. The emphasis is also on cross-sectoral links in kindergarten, which are used in quality work with children. Cross-sectoral links between mathematics and movement in kindergarten are represented in a form of movement games. There are described two examples, where is used learning method called “method of play”. Children’s play can offer unity between all of the aspects of preschool child’s development. It can also help us to realize our planned goals in a way that is fun for children and doesn’t take major effort.

Abstract (ePrints): Diplomsko delo predstavlja otrokov celostni razvoj skozi različne vidike razvoja, kot so telesni, gibalni, spoznavni in čustveno socialni razvoj.
