Speech in Parkinson's disease |
Secondary abstract: |
The thesis presents an analysis of speech of four male subjects with a diagnosis of Parkinson's disease associated with dementia. The analysis was performed on the record of the description of each one. All persons were asked to describe the scene in the picture, taken from the Boston test for aphasia, entitled: The cookie theft. Description was shot with a recorder and then converted to written words.
With the help of pre-prepared check list, the speech has been properly evaluated. Each written speech was evaluated according to the uncorrected, corrected or inadequately corrected errors during the speech. In addition to errors I also considered the length of speech, speech rate, and duration of illness. I tried to determine whether these values are connected or not. |

Abstract (ePrints): |
Diplomsko delo predstavlja analizo govora 4 oseb moškega spola z diagnozo Parkinsonova bolezen s pridruženo demenco.
