Secondary title: Web time schedule for content management system Joomla!
Secondary abstract: Different educational institutions have to cope with the task of composing a schedule. As is known, not every schedule is a good one. We strive to produce a balanced and complex schedule. Scheduling software offers us significant advantages over the conventional manual assembly of a schedule. There are several different systems for management of content, so called CMSs. In this diploma thesis we are focusing on the Joomla! system. It is an open source content management system, it represents a powerful framework for building websites and it is one of the most powerful and most popular systems for content management in the world. In this thesis we offer a detailed presentation of the system Joomla! in the context of its functionality, its characteristics, types of extension and its variations. We also present the instructions for the installation of Joomla! and instructions for using EasyCreator tool, which is suitable of producing an extension of the system itself. With this tool we implemented the component JUrnik for web time schedule, which allows us to compose a timetable for the educational institutions. We considered the facts of a good and balanced schedule that allows us: subsequent adjustments of the schedule, preparation of informations about substituions in any past period, faster assembly of the schedule, almost complete removal of overlapping in the first phase of composing, an optimal allocation of departments in the classrooms, and avoiding the gaps in the schedule. The JUrnik component is also evaluated and tested against different users. This brings us to the conclusion that the web time component JUrnik is well developed.

Abstract (ePrints): S sestavljanjem urnika se srečujemo v različnih izobraževalnih institucijah. Kot vemo, vsak urnik ni dober urnik. Stremimo k temu, da bi izdelali uravnotežen in kompleksno sestavljen urnik. Programska sestava urnikov omogoča bistvene prednosti pred klasičnim ročnim sestavljanjem urnika. Poznamo več različnih sistemov za upravljanje z vsebinami, t.i. CMS-ji. V diplomskem delu smo se osredotočili na sistem Joomla!. Je odprtokodni sistem za upravljanje z vsebinami, predstavlja zelo močno ogrodje za izdelavo spletne strani in je eden izmed najzmogljivejših in najpopularnejših sistemov za upravljanje s spletnimi vsebinami na svetu. V diplomskem delu smo podrobno predstavili sistem Joomla!, v kontekstu njenega delovanja, njenih lastnosti, tipov razširitev in njenih različic. Predstavljena so tudi navodila za namestitev sistema Joomla!, ter navodila za uporabo orodja EasyCreator, ki omogoča izdelavo razširitev v samem sistemu. S tem orodjem smo realizirali poenostavljeno komponento spletnega urnika JUrnik, ki omogoča sestavljanje urnika za različne izobraževalne inštitucije. Upoštevali smo dejavnike dobrega in uravnoteženega urnika, ki nam omogoča: kasnejše popravke urnika, pripravo informacij o nadomeščanjih v poljubnem preteklem obdobju, hitrejše sestavljanje urnika, skoraj popolno izogibanje prekrivanjem že v prvi fazi sestavljanja, optimalno razporejanje oddelkov v učilnice ter izogibanje prostim uram. Komponenta spletni urnik JUrnik je tudi evalvirana in preizkušena s strani respondentov z različnim predznanjem iz programiranja. Tako smo prišli do ugotovitve, da je spletna komponenta JUrnik v obsegu diplomskega dela ustrezno izdelana.
