Secondary title: Haga's theorems for silver rectangles
Secondary abstract: In my diploma thesis I have presented a connection between mathematics and art of origami. I have stated the mathematical axioms for the paper folding which link the folding with basic plane geometry. The axioms were then used for proving generalized Haga statements which define the manner of folding the sheet of paper to achieve a division of the paper edges in certain length ratios. The Haga statements were first applied on a square sheet but in their generalized form they can be used also on the sheets of paper with the length edge ratios of . An example of this kind of paper is also A4 paper which was used for presenting the way how to divide the paper in odd equal parts. Additionally, I have also described a procedure for building a box out of the A4 paper. Both examples are very educational and can be used in school classes.

Abstract (ePrints): V svojem diplomskem delu sem predstavila povezavo med matematko in umetnostjo origamija.
