Day care center as a form of help in psychosocial rehabilitation of people with mental health problems |
Secondary abstract: |
Day care centre as part of psychosocial rehabilitation is very important for persons with mental health problems. It helps them when they move from a psychiatric hospital in the home environment, helps to raise and maintain a social network, eliminates prejudices, helps to be informed, it empowers and supports them to live independently outside of institutional facilities. We say that a day care center carries a variety of roles - normalization, innovation and service role. I was interested in the opinions of the users of day care centers Šent about how day care centre meet those roles and make their life easier.
I have found that most attention should be focused on the role of innovation as it is achieved the lowest results. Best is realized normative role and then service role, but both areas need to be developed further. |

Abstract (ePrints): |
