Thesis target group are in-service and pre-service primary school technology techers to whom we want to present the use of alternative teaching methods and encourage teachers to use discovery learning method in their teaching process. Firstly alternative teaching method, known as inductive teaching, are presented. Theirs propertis and hystorical development are described. Here discovery learning method, its features, design and its theory foundations is emphasized. This is followed by primary school engineering education (also physics) ccurricula, relative textbooks and other literature that suggests the use of inductive teaching methods and the discovery learning method in Slovenia and abroad overviewed. At the end we propose a lesson plan for 7th grade of nine-year elementary school that demonstrates the use of discovery learning for the case of control. This Students learn about single - pole switch; single - pole, double – throw switch and pushbutton switch at school visit day. They research about series and parallel connection of switches. Students are actively involved in learning process. Teachers task is only to guide the education process and to provide students help if needed. |

Abstract (ePrints): |
Raziščejo namen zaporedne in vzporedne vezave stikal. Učenci so aktivno vključeni v proces učenja. |
