Secondary title: Teaching Design and technology throught strategy of project-based learning
Secondary abstract: Thesis is dedicated to in-service primary school technology teachers. We aim to encourage teachers and pupils to use project-based learning work in class. By using descriptive method all available literature regarding project-based learning at Design and technology was reviewed. The term inductive methods is firstly defined and in addition to it, specific complementary methods are presented. Project learning-based work historical bakgroung, characteristics, types and phases are presented. Design and technology curriculum themes regarding researched topic were carefully reviewed with emphassis on electronic control system topic (sliding gates switch controlling) in 7th class of the Elementary school. An application of project-based learning case as a teaching class preparation is presented (in attachement) and explained in detail.

Abstract (ePrints): Diplomsko delo je namenjeno učiteljem Tehnike in tehnologije v osnovni šoli. Z delom želimo spodbuditi učitelje in študente tehnike k uvajanju in uporabljanju projektnega učnega dela pri pouku. Pregledali smo obstoječo literaturo in raziskali uporabo projektnega učnega dela pri pouku Tehnike in tehnologije. Na začetku smo opredelili pojem induktivnih metod in jim v nadaljevanju pripisali posamične pripadajoče metode. Podrobneje smo preučili metodo projektnega učnega dela. Opisali smo začetke, značilnosti, tipe in faze po katerih poteka. Nato smo se osredotočili na pouk Tehnike in tehnologije, kjer smo pregledali teme v učnem načrtu, ki so usmerjene v projektno delo. Izbrali smo temo krmiljenja (krmiljenje dvoriščnih drsnih vrat), obravnavana v 7. razredu osnovne šole in predstavili aplikacijo projektnega učnega dela pri pouku v obliki učne priprave. Učna priprava je priloga k delu in je strokovno pojasnjena ter utemeljena.
