Secondary title: Attitudes towards inclusive higher education of students with physical disabilities
Secondary abstract: The number of physically disabled students in universities is increasing, which is necessary to adapt teaching according the principles of inclusive higher education. To ensure maximum performance of physically disabled students in their studies, it is necessary to make certain system actions, while also properly inform and educate staff and other students on the special needs of physically disabled students. The aim of the study was to analyze the attitudes of students without special needs and students with physical disabilities to inclusive higher education of physically disabled. The research was carried out according to the descriptive and causal - experimental method. With our research we found attitudes towards inclusive higher education of physically disabled depending on the direction and intensity, the structure of views on the direction and intensity as well as differences in the positions of both parties and reveal the stereotypical arguments often prevent full integration of physically disabled in the study process. Based on the results we want to strengthen the real attitudes and empathy of their peers to physically disabled students and affect the social awareness of the physically disabled students in the Slovenian territory. Attitudes toward physically disabled students are being developed simultaneously with the experience, education and adjustment on both sides, both for physically disabled students than other students. The development of positive attitudes require personal development of both individuals and society as a whole.
