Secondary title: Creating stimulative environment for development of theater activities in kindergarten
Secondary abstract: The diploma thesis presents a stimulating environment as an important factor in child's development. In the theoretical part, a play is presented as a basic activity of a child through which he spontaneously passes on a role-playing game which is the basis of theatre activity. The child becomes accustomed to the roles in drama play or in puppet-show created by his spontaneous play. The adults recognize this spontaneous play and add the elements of theatre play to it. It is important to focus on the process and not on the final product. A stimulating environment is the environment that offers a place, the time and the means to a child for an independent research and learning. And the adults are the ones that help to shape it together with a child. The child that will be actively participating in the process, will be intrinsically motivated and the acquired knowledge can be more permanent. In the empirical part, the examples from practice are presented. A puppet in the hands of an educator is a motivation encouraging the child to create his own puppet and create a story with it based on his own ideas, and to engage in interaction with the others. Besides, the assistance to a theatre play presents a motivation for a child wishing to reproduce its story, and to perform the play in front of other children or parents. I believe that performing the theatre activities has a significant impact on the communication among the children, and the children and their educator as well.

Abstract (ePrints): V diplomski nalogi predstavim spodbudno okolje kot pomemben dejavnik v otrokovem razvoju.
