Secondary title: Application of terrestrial laser scanning for the recording of cultural heriage on the castle Kalc case
Secondary abstract: In this graduation thesis terrestrial laser scanning, data processing and modeling are presented step by step to the production of the final 3D object model. Data acquisition with an electronic distance measurements without using reflectors is described, as well as data processing to create a wireframe model of the object. At the beginning the object of our case study is presented, followed by some theory about laser scanning and distance measurement. In addition, the procedure of processing scanning data from the point cloud to virtual 3D model is described. Technical features and processing flow of the software Trimble RealWorks, which was used in the project, is presented. The practical work accomplished in the framework of this diploma thesis was the capture and processing of 3D data on the case of castle Kalc in the municipally Ilirska Bistrica. Finally, the geometric analysis between laser scanning data and geodetic data was carried out as well.

Abstract (ePrints): V diplomskem delu so predstavljeni posamezni koraki pri laserskem skeniranju objekta ter obdelava podatkov do pridobitve 3D modela.
