Secondary abstract: The Diploma thesis deals with a variety of waterproofing systems, focusing on the XYPEX waterproofing system. The XYPEX system can be used either as additive to fresh concrete or can be applied after hardening of concrete as a waterproof coating. I have chosen few building assemblies - some classic and others using XYPEX and described their features and advantages. I compared chosen systems from technological point of view and compared time consumption and costs for construction of each of them. To show the differences between chosen waterproofing systems I calculated standard performance time (h/m?) and e performance cost (€/m?) for all waterproofing systems, compared them and discussed the differences. As the last part of the thesis I conducted the laboratory tests on concrete specimens with the XYPEX additive and compared them with control specimens. I performed tests on the fresh concrete mixture and hardened concrete, compared the results between the test and made the conclusions.

Abstract (ePrints): Diplomska naloga obravnava različne hidroizolacijske sisteme, poudarek pa je na hidroizolacijskem sistemu XYPEX. Sistem XYPEX sem obravnaval kot dodatek k betonu in kot premaz, opisal konstrukcijske sklope, značilnosti in prednosti tega sistema ter analiziral različne aplikacije tega sistema. Na konkretnem primeru sem zasnoval različne konstrukcijske sklope s hidroizolacijskim sistemom XYPEX in prikazal različne aplikacije tega sistema, ga opisal v primerjavi z drugimi hidroizolacijskimi sistemi, ki so na tržišču, in jih primerjal tehnološko, časovno in finančno. Na podlagi izračunov sem podal normative za časovno izvedbo (ur/m?) vseh obravnavanih hidroizolacijskih sistemov ter jih primerjal medsebojno in prikazal razlike. Enako sem tudi podal strošek izvedbe (€/m?) vseh obravnavanih hidroizolacijskih sistemov, jih primerjal medsebojno in prikazal razlike. V zadnjem delu diplomske naloge pa sem opravil laboratorijske preiskave na betonskih preskušancih z dodatkom XYPEX in osnovnim preskušancem ETALON-om. Preiskave sem opravil tako na sveži betonski mešanici kot na strnjenem betonu, primerjal rezultate med preskušanci in podal ugotovitve.
