Secondary abstract: In the diploma thesis the procedure of creating a 3D model of buildings from lidar data is treated. The goal is to present in a simple and efficient way the actual state of buildings on a field and check the usability of automatic vectorisation of buildings from lidar data with program package TerraSolid. Entire procedure, from data acquisition to final product is presented. In theoretical part the basics of airborne laser scanning (ALS) and processing of data, acquired with ALS technology, are described. Practical part was made on the case of the town Domţale. Within this part the measuring equipment, used for realization of air mission, recording of data, data processing and use of the program package TerraSolid for the 3D building modeling are presented. We found out that automatic building modeling, based on lidar data, with TerraSolid is quite simple, but for defining the accurate shape of the roofs, a lot of manual work was still needed. 3D models are mostly used for comparison with realestate records, in the spatial planning, town presentation and tourism.

Abstract (ePrints): V diplomski nalogi je obravnavan postopek izdelave 3D modelov zgradb na osnovi lidarskih podatkov. Cilj je čim bolj enostavno in učinkovito predstaviti dejansko stanje zgradb na terenu in preveriti uporabnost avtomatske vektorizacije zgradb iz lidarskih podatkov s programskim paketom TerraSolid. Predstavljen je celoten postopek od zajema podatkov do končnega izdelka. V teoretičnem delu so opisane osnove zračnega laserskega skeniranja (ZLS) in obdelave podatkov, pridobljenih s tehnologijo ZLS. Praktični del naloge je izdelan na primeru mesta Domţale. V praktičnem delu je predstavljena merska oprema, uporabljena za izvedbo zračne misije, potek snemanja, obdelava podatkov ter predstavitev in uporaba programskega paketa TerraSolid za potrebe modeliranja zgradb. Ob izvedbi naloge smo ugotovili, da je avtomatsko modeliranje, na podlagi lidarskih podatkov, s programskim paketom TerraSolid sicer precej enostavno, vendar je za natančno definiranje oblike zgradb potrebno še veliko ročnega dela. Izdelani modeli so uporabni predvsem za primerjavo z nepremičninskimi evidencami, za potrebe prostorskega načrtovanja, predstavitve mesta in turizma.
