Assesment of seismic resistance of building in Posočje region through analysis of local failure mechanisms |

Within this diploma work, seismic resistance of buildings from Posočje region was evaluated through analysis of local failure mechanisms. In the first part different methods for the assessment of seismic resistance for masonry structures are presented and criteria for the most optimal solution for the evaluation of their efficiency are presented. Following this, the most common damage patterns and mechanisms of failure characteristic for the stone masonry structures of Posočje region are presented. Method used for the evaluation of seismic resistance through local failure analysis was FaMIVE, appropriate for the estimation of seismic vulnerability of the facades on the large scale of buildings and particularly for old city centres. Different mechanisms of out-of-plane and in-plane mechanisms characteristic for old masonry buildings characteristic for Posočje region are than compared with the outcome of the analysis made by FaMIVE. V diplomskem delu je bila narejena ocena potresne ranljivosti kamnitih stavb v Posočju z analizo lokalnih mehanizmov porušitve. V prvem delu so predstavljene različne metode za ocenjevanje potresne ranljivosti zidanih stavb in kriteriji za izbiro najprimernejše metode za ugotavljanje potresne ranljivosti. Sledi opis poškodb tipičnih zidanih objektov v Posočju, ki so jih prizadeli zadnji potresi. Metoda za ocenjevanje potresne ranljivosti uporabljena v nalogi je FaMIVE metoda, ki je primerna za določanje potresne ranljivosti zidanih stavb v strnjenih središčih mest ob upoštevanju različnih možnih mehanizmov porušitve. Predstavljeni so različni ravninski in izven ravninski delni mehanizmi porušitve zaradi potresne obtežbe, ki so karakteristični za zidane stavbe. V praktičnem delu smo na osnovi posnetkov poškodb analizirali različne lokalne mehanizme porušitve in s pomočjo programske opreme FaMIVE analizirali posamezne poškodovane fasade kamnitih objektov v Posočju. Obravnavane kamnite stavbe so predstavljene z rezultati analize ter primerjanimi kritični pospeški za območje Posočja. |
