Revitalization and seismic assessment of Tobacco Museum in Ljubljana |
Secondary abstract: |
Within this diploma work, revitalization works and seismic assessment of the Tobacco Museum in Ljubljana is presented. Following the short summary of the revitalization works carried out on the building according to the guidelines provided by the Institute for the protection of cultural heritage of Slovenia, seismic loading, behaviour of masonry structures as well as methods for the restrengthening of masonry buildings were defined and presented. In the second part of the work, non-linear seismic analysis of the structure by means of two different models for the assessment of the seismic resistance of masonry structures was evaluated. First, the software Sremb is presented, by explaining his main principles and assumptions. Following this, the preparation of input data and interpretation of the results is presented as well. Than the second used software is presented in the same manner. Seismic analysis of the structures was done in present state and following revitalization works. Obtained results were compared with the results from Project documentation and commented. |

Abstract (ePrints): |
