Secondary abstract: |
In a junction design we often face with the choice between a roundabout design and a
signalised junction design. To make the choice, one important question should be answered is
which design gives a higher capacity. Until new, there is few research who c1ear1y answer
this question. Therefore a research about the detailed comparison of capacity of these two
types of junction designs is needed. This paper tries to compare the capacity of roundabout
and signalised junction designs for junctions with four branches and are symmetric about
centre on a roundabout Drnovo. |

Pri načrtovanju križišč se pogosto srečujemo z izbiro med zasnovo semaforiziranega križišča
in krožnega križišča. Da bi se pravilno oziroma smotrno odločili si moramo odgovoriti na zelo
pomembno vprašanje, in sicer, katera zasnova omogoča večjo prepustnost. Do danes je bilo
narejenih kar nekaj raziskav, ki podajajo ta odgovor. Zato je detajla primerjava teh dveh tipov
križišč na mestu. Ta naloga primerja prepustnost krožnega križišča in semaforiziranega
križišča s štirimi kraki simetričnega na center, in sicer na primeru krožnega križišča Drnovo. |
