Secondary abstract:	The thesis deals with the activity and development of industry and the industrial region in Trebnje, focused on inner and outer transport ways. They should be as economical as possible for the industry and environmentally sustainable and related to development of the whole surroundings. In the spatial plan of community Trebnje industry is placed in the eastern part, close to urban settlement. Therefore a special care must be taken to spatial and architectural arrangements, to environmental protection and to construction of its inner and outer traffic infrastructure. The scheme of traffic infrastructure is the main point of this work. Trebnje is situated next to most important traffic linkages: the railway (built in 1894) and the motorway, opened this year (2010). So it is obvious that such a great industrial area as in Trebnje, needs the close connection to both in most efficient way. The existing traffic linkages are analyzed and other, more adequate and sustainable solution is proposed. The inner transport regulation in the industrial area is dealt as a part of a complex system. A special attention in the work is aimed to completion of railway infrastructure as the railway transport, taking into consideration all its advantages (economy, traffic safety, environmental preservation and others) will become the backbone for outer traffic transport in and out of the industrial area.

Abstract (ePrints):	Diplomska naloga obravnava dejavnost in razvoj industrije in industrijskega območja v Trebnjem, osredotočena pa je na transportne poti, tako notranje in zunanje, ki naj bi bile urejene tako, da bodo za tovarno kar najbolj ekonomične, za mesto Trebnje in njegov prostor pa čim bolj okoljsko vzdržne (sustainable) in razvojno naravnane. V občinskem prostorskem načrtu mesta Trebnje ima industrija svoj prostor na vzhodnem obrobju mesta, blizu mestnemu naselju. Zato je potrebna posebna skrb pri prostorskih in arhitekturnih ureditvah, varovanju okolja ter pri izgradnji njene notranje in zunanje prometne infrastrukture. Zasnova učinkovite prometne infrastrukture je rdeča nit diplomskega dela. Trebnje se nahaja neposredno ob najpomembnejših državnih prometnicah. Železniška proga je bila neposredno mimo Trebnjega zgrajena že leta 1894, avtocesta pa letos (2010). Tako ni nobenih razlogov, da tako velik industrijski kompleks, kot je ta v Trebnjem, ne bi bil na najbolj učinkovit način navezan nanju. V nalogi so analizirane sedanje prometne poti in predlagan predlog drugačne, bolj trajnostne rešitve zanje. Notranje transportne poti v kompleksu samemu so pri tem obravnavane kot del celovitega sistema. Posebna pozornost je v nalogi namenjena dopolnitvam železniške infrastrukture, saj naj bi prav železniški transport, upoštevaje vse njegove prednosti (ekonomičnost, prometna varnost, varovanje okolja itd.) postal hrbtenica zunanjih transportov v in iz industrijskega območja.
