Renovation of levelling network for monitoring the movements on the HE Mariborski otok |
Secondary abstract: |
The company DEM (Dravske elektrarne Maribor) consists of eight hydroelectric power plants on the river Drava. Hydroelectric power plant Mariborski otok is the lowest lying hydroelectric power plant, which still stands near Maribor in the river bed and exploits the energy potential of Drava. Hydroelectric power plant Mariborski otok belongs to a group of high hecks, which need to be yearly technical observed from the user or a caretaker. One of the contents of technical observing is also the measurement of vertical movements of benchmarks, which is described in details in this diploma work. This diploma work also describes the relatedness of the local altitude network of hydroelectric power plant Mariborski otok with the national levelling network, which was needed to be renovated. The results of the measurements were compared to the previous ones which have been carried out since 1969. On the basis of observation we can find numerous deficiencies on the facility, which could cause major injury on the facility itself and they also present a danger to the surroundings. |

Abstract (ePrints): |
