Secondary title: Functional regions of migration in Slovenia in 2000-2010
Secondary abstract: The graduation thesis analyzes functional regions in Slovenia, based on migration among the municipalities of Slovenia, during the eleven years long period (from the year 2000 to 2010). We modeled functional regions by the Intramax method, which considers both way of migration among municipalities. In the thesis, there were presented also some of the basic facts of some existing approaches and methods to model functional regions. We modeled 50 different systems of functional regions (2-30 and 50-70 functional regions) for each analyzed year. The similar systems of 2 to 16 functional regions were compared by years. At the end of the thesis, a comparative study of here modeled functional regions using migration flows to the functional regions modeled by commuting flows (Zupanec, 2012) were performed.
