Secondary title: Comparison of rheological properties of fresh mortar and concrete with the same surface area of aggregate grains
Secondary abstract: Due to the complexity of modern constructions rheological properties of fresh concrete, such as yield stress and plastic viscosity, are crucial for efficient casting and stability of the concrete. The rheological properties can be modified by the use of chemical admixtures and mineral additives. The aim of this diploma work was to compare the rheological properties of fresh concrete and concrete equivalent mortar, which were determined by using CEM ("concrete equivalent mortar") method. Its principle is to design mortar, deducted from concrete composition, for which the rheological properties display correlation with those of concrete. Measurements were made on 26 samples, which contained various chemical admixtures and mineral additives. Rheological measurements were carried out on ConTec Viscometer 5. Standard measurements were also performed, such as determination of consistence of fresh mortar by using flow table. The obtained results on mortars were compared with those obtained on concrete mixtures tested in the framework of other diploma works.

Abstract (ePrints): Zaradi vedno kompleksnejših gradenj so reološke lastnosti svežega betona, kot sta napetost na meji tečenja in plastična viskoznost, ključnega pomena za učinkovito vgradnjo in stabilnost betonske mešanice.
