ǂTheǂ use of modern wooden products in the timber load-bearing structures |

In modern wooden structures classic solid wood is increasingly being replaced by prefabricated timber products. They are fulfilling many of the functions that construction elements are now required to do. In Slovenia glued laminated wooden structure dominates in engineering structures however on the other hand around the world other types of engineered wood composite (Structural composite lumber - SCL) which replaced the classical line elements from solid wood, have also been introduced in construction. In the thesis most frequent representatives of modern wood products are represented. Their properties are analyzed along with their strengths and weaknesses. Possibilities for their use in construction as well as in other areas are described. In accordance with the standards from Eurocode 5 overview of the basic dimensioning of load-bearing elements of some of the described products is summarized. |

V sodobnih lesenih konstrukcijah zaradi lažjega izpolnjevanja številnih funkcij, ki jih morajo danes opravljati gradbeni elementi, klasičen masivni les vse pogosteje nadomeščajo prefabricirani lesni proizvodi. V Sloveniji pri inženirskih konstrukcijah prevladujejo lamelirane lepljene lesene konstrukcije, v svetu pa se uveljavljajo tudi konstrukcije iz ostalih vrst konstrukcijskega kompozitnega lesa (Structural composite lumber - SCL), ki nadomešča klasične linijske elemente iz žaganega lesa. V diplomski nalogi so predstavljeni najpogostejši predstavniki sodobnih lesnih proizvodov. Analizirane so njihove lastnosti in izpostavljene prednosti in slabosti. Opisane so njihove možnosti uporabe tako v gradbeništvu kot tudi na drugih področjih. V skladu s standardi iz družine Evrokod 5 je povzet pregled osnovnega dimenzioniranja nosilnih elementov nekaterih izmed opisanih proizvodov. |
