Secondary title: Case study for temporary roundabouts
Secondary abstract: In the present thesis we research assembled roundabouts in the proximity of the town of Izola. For this purpose, in the first part of the thesis, we make an analysis of four roundabouts: count of the traffic, measures of speed, trajectory of the vehicles, stopping distances and visibility when entering the roundabouts in relation to selected elements of the roundabout. But most of all, we are interested in the safety and permeability of the roundabouts. We are pointing out some potential dangers in the roundabouts from our prospective and from the point of view of the local users of the roundabout. In the second part of the thesis, we focus on the comparison of the analyzed roundabouts and the identification of pros and cons. In the third part of the thesis, we propose some potential improvements of existing assembled roundabouts and ideas for the future installation of assembled roundabouts.

Abstract (ePrints): V diplomski nalogi preučujemo montažna krožišča v bližini domačega kraja.
