Secondary title: | Renovation of building into near zero energy house |
Secondary abstract: | The subject of my graduation thesis is a nearly zero-energy house. The renewed Directive on the energy performance of buildings 2010/31/EU describes new goals and demands that include also an increase in the number of buildings to be renovated into a zero-energy house. To reach this demand we have to study the factors that affect the reduction of the energy consumption in a building and use the renewable energy sources in the best possible way. In the paper I have used a case of an existing building and presented six realisable and sensible measures that we can use in the process of the renovation to reduce the necessary heat for heating, cold for refrigeration and the energy used for the hot water. The analysis of those measures is carried out with the help of the TOST program that allows a calculation of the energy balance of the building. These measures help us to construct the renewed building with a lower heating and refrigeration energy consumption. In the following chapters I have presented three ways of exploiting the renewable energy sources, which are available in the building region and with which we can provide the required energy for the building. |
