Design and analysis of reinforced concrete load-bearing elements of a commercial building in Ljubljana |
Secondary abstract: |
This thesis presents an analysis and design of a load-bearing structure of one part of fourstorey office building located in Ljubljana. Design is carried out according to the Eurocode standards. The load-bearing structure of the concerned building unit is made of reinforced concrete. It is constructed of monolith storey plates, monolith flat roof plate, beams and columns, which form a spatial frame construction. Permanent impacts, variable impacts and impacts resulting from an earthquake are taken into account in the analysis of the loadbearing structure. The analysis of the load-bearing structure is performed with two different computational models. The first model is used for the analysis of a typical monolith storey plate and the second, which is spatial, is used to define earthquake impacts and for the analysis of the vertical load-bearing elements of the building. Both models are made with a
commercial program SAP2000 (Computers and Structures, Inc. 2009). In the thesis, the design of the monolith storey plate at the position P400 and part of the construction at the side site of the building are shown in detail. The required amount of longitudinal reinforcement in the concerned monolith storey plate is similar to the installed amount of reinforcement in the plate obtained from the project documentation. The amounts of longitudinal and transversal reinforcement in the analysed beams and columns of the loadbearing structure of the building are also similar. The dimensions of the columns, obtained from the project documentation, are even larger than the required dimensions according to the provisions of the standards. The results of the analysis are presented in text, graphics and tables. The layout of the reinforcement in the concerned load-bearing elements is shown in reinforcement plans which form part of the annex of the thesis. |

Abstract (ePrints): |
potresnega vpliva in analizi vertikalnih nosilnih elementov objekta. Oba modela sta izdelana v programu SAP2000 (Computers and Structures, Inc. 2009).
zahtevanih oziroma potrebnih dimenzij v skladu z določili standarda. Rezultati analize so prikazani tekstovno, grafično in v preglednicah. |
