Analysis of soil detachment and sediment transport from watershed |
Secondary abstract: |
Analysis of detachment, transport and dumping of sediments from river basins are presented in the thesis. In the first part there is a general view on the soil erosion, its mechanisms, forms and factors. With that, also models are added, which predict the soil erosion and spatial analysis in geographical information systems.
A special attention was consecrated to processes of soil erosion from the basin. With the help of the input information we analysed the surface using a program called ArcGis 10.
Later on we evaluated detachment of sediments caused by the water erosion, which was done with a model on the basis of an USLE equation. Considering the quantity of soil loss, we predicted the sediment yield or the quantity which had been removed from the basin. We compared it to the measured quantity of the sediments in the reservoir, where the sediments are flown into. We came to a closure, that the match between the predicted and measured quantity of the sediments is very good. The credit for getting these results goes to precise input information and the measurements on the fieldwork.N |

Abstract (ePrints): |
Posebno pozornost smo posvetili procesom erozije tal s porečja. S pomočjo vhodnih podatkov smo s programom ArcGis 10 analizirali površje in z modelom na podlagi enačbe USLE ocenili sproščanje zemljin zaradi vodne erozije s površinskih virov.
