Secondary abstract: A web-based application for a simplified assessment of seismic vulnerability of masonry buildings is described in the thesis. In the first part, a brief overview of earthquake engineering is given. Follow a description of seismic response of masonry buildings and the overview of the construction types of such buildings. The last chapter of theoretical part of the thesis deals with pros and cons of the web applications and with a brief general description of the development of web applications. In the second part of the thesis, the process of development of the web application is presented in several steps. An emphasis is given on the process of the development of the web application, the process of calculating the entire seismic force and on the assessment of seismic resistance of the walls. The process of assessment of structural vulnerability given the design seismic action, the process of determination of the simplified pushover curve and the presentation of results in terms of a PDF file are also described. In the final part of the thesis the use of the web application and its verification is made by means of a seismic performance assessment of typical masonry building.

Abstract (ePrints): V diplomski nalogi je opisana izdelava spletne aplikacije za poenostavljeno oceno potresne ranljivosti zidanega objekta. V prvem delu diplome so na splošno opisani potresno inženirstvo, odziv zidanih objektov med potresi ter načini gradnje zidanih objektov. Prikazani so tudi postopki izračuna potresnih sil in potresne odpornosti objekta skupaj z možnimi mehanizmi porušitve posameznih sten. V zadnjem delu teoretičnega dela diplome smo predstavili prednosti in slabosti ter način programiranja spletnih aplikacij. V drugem delu diplome je po korakih opisan postopek izdelave spletne aplikacije, postopek računa potresne obremenitve na stavbo in postopek računa odpornosti posameznih sten in stavbe kot celote. Prikazan je tudi postopek za določitev potisne krivulje ter generiranja rezultatov analize v obliki PDF dokumenta. V zadnjem delu diplomske naloge smo testirali spletno aplikacijo na primeru zidanega objekta.
