Dynamic analysis of Moste concrete gravity dam with CADAM software |

In this thesis a short literature overview is given for simplified dynamic analysis of concrete gravity dams. A parametric study using CADAM software was conducted. By this study the Moste concrete gravity dam response was analyzed for different loads and earthquake accelerations. The results showed that safety of Moste dam is comparable to its design safety. Also is shown that the Moste dam would sustain more intense horizontal ground movement than the designed values for sliding and overturning. Besides, the stress analysis showed that for the design horizontal ground accelerations and an empty reservoir, cracks appeared on downstream face. On the other hand, when the reservoir was full, the cracks appeared on upstream face. |

V diplomski nalogi je pripravljen kratek pregled literature za poenostavljeno dinamično analizo betonskih težnostnih pregrad. Z uporabo programa CADAM, ki poleg drugih metod upošteva tudi psevdo-dinamično metodo, je bil s parametrično študijo določen odziv pregrade HE Moste za različne obremenitve in potresne kombinacije. Rezultati pokažejo, da je s programom CADAM določena varnost pregrade HE Moste primerljiva s projektno varnostjo. Izkaže se tudi, da bi pregrada pri kontrolah na zdrs in prevrnitev vzdržala horizontalne pospeške temeljnih tal večje od projektnih. Za
pregradi je kritičen zdrs pregrade. Poleg tega se pri analizi napetosti izkaže, da se ob prazni akumulaciji pri projektnem horizontalnem pospešku temeljnih tal pojavijo razpoke na zračni strani. Ob polni akumulaciji v primeru potresa pa se razpoke pojavijo na vodni strani. |
