Secondary language: English
Secondary title: ǂThe ǂanalysis of hydrologic methods used for the determination of the environmental flow
Secondary abstract: In the diploma thesis, concrete data from gauging stations located in the northwestern part of Slovenia are used to calculate environmental flow according to the selected hydrologic methods that are used and/or are specified by legislation in Slovenia, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Italy, Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as the Tennant method. The aim of the diploma thesis has been to determine the differences and deviations between different methods and evaluate the suitability of the selected methodology accepted by the Republic of Slovenia in the Decree on the criteria for determination and on the mode of monitoring and reporting on environmental flow (OG RS, No. 97/ 2009) by comparing and analyzing values calculated through various methods. Qes values calculated according to the Slovene Decree on Qes (2009) are most similar to the values calculated according to the method used in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and if they are used to calculate specific flows are also comparable to the specific flows required to ensure Qes on alpine streams in Italy.

Title (ePrints): The analysis of hydrologic methods used for the determination of the environmental flow
Keywords (ePrints): ekološko sprejemljiv pretok;hidrologija;vodna zakonodaja
Keywords (ePrints, secondary language): environmental flow;hydrology;water legislation
