Secondary title: Rheological properties of cementitious composites in fresh state
Secondary abstract: Doctoral dissertation discusses the concept of the rheology of fresh cement based composites. On the territory of Slovenia, no one has dealt with the topic of rheology of fresh cement based composites with an emphasis on concrete. For this reason, the task is based more generally. Dissertation discusses the basic principles of the rheology of fresh cement composites and is then directed in a more specific topic. Reographs for use with Slovenian materials are established. Basic principles of rheology are examined. Also included are materials which are not most commonly used as the constituents of concrete, except as part of the cement. Concrete mixtures were divided into two groups, namely: normal concrete and self compacting concrete (SCC). Mortars are formulated on the basis of concrete mixtures using the concrete equivalent (CEM) method. Measurements were performed with two different rheometers, namely rheometer ICAR Rheometer and rheometer Contec Viscometer 5. Several comparisons were made. First a comparison between the rheometers for different types of concrete and mortars was made. The two rheometers show quite different results but they monitor changes in the composition of the mixture in the same way. A comparison between concrete and mortar was made with the introduction of evaluation method, which is called "expected flow of mortar". This method is effective for use in normal concrete. Also time behavior of rheological properties of concrete and its equivalent mortar is checked. In most cases the behavior is comparable. It is well evaluated using the normalization of the results. Comparisons are supported by statistical analysis, which also includes method ANOVA.

Abstract (ePrints): Doktorska disertacija obravnava pojem reologije svežih cementnih kompozitov. Mešanice betona so razdeljene v dve skupini, in sicer: običajni betoni in samozgoščevalni (SCC) betoni.
