Secondary abstract: In my thesis I was investigating the field of collage photography. Mostly, I was interested in a role of photography in modern art, with an emphasis on interaction of photography with other media, in contact with other techniques and materials, concurrence and merging of photography and collage and photography as a part of collage painting. Therefore, in theoretical part I focused on its development through different periods - from early beggining until digital manipulation of photography and modification of photographed images. I analized individual artists and art directions. Additional attention, I paied to some feminist female artists. Nowadays, the meaning of visual language has enormous shapes with a varitety of possibilities, offered mostly by photography. Already its begginings explain photography's role in painting production and also its expressive values. Dialectics of art in the 20th century was interrupted by conceptualism and later on, in the sixties of the previous century, exactly photography helped the art to make a step forward connected with the field of conceptualism. Afterwards I presented the results of my own creating process, whose concept is collage postmodern content. A puzzle, built by details of human bodies, speaks of emptiness, impermanence and poetics of distances. School curriculum includes collage and photography in to the field of teaching especially in the second and third triad of primary school and at work with students in high school. Today we can feel the continuous presence of photography in our environment, and it is important to educate children about its values. I was interested in the role of photography as an artstic mean of expression, so I carried out an art task about that topic with the students, which I also presented in pedagogic research of my thesis.

Abstract (ePrints): V svojem diplomskem delu sem raziskovala področje kolažirane fotografije. Anatomija sestavljank, zgrajena z beleženjem detaljev človeških teles, govori o praznini, minljivosti in poetiki razdalj.
