Secondary abstract: A school bag is one piece of necessary supplies for a pupil in these days. However, back in the days, all they needed in a class was a piece of chalk and a small board. A school bag is becoming a fashion accessory. Pupils' wishes are bigger every year: they want a new bag, with a different pattern, different colour or even a different shape. But not all the parents can afford buying a new school bag every year. In this case, charity is a good option. According to advanced technology, we can expect pupil's books, workbooks, notebooks and school supplies to be replaced by iPod sand e-books in the near future. In the first part of my thesis I presented a short history of school system in Slovenia. I compared books, teachers and school supplies now and then. I also described history of a schoolbag, it's shape and creation. I also wrote how a school bag is recommended to be in order to be pupil-friendly. It is also described here in after the newest shapes and styles of a schoolbag. I also took a glimpse in research of school bag colours – is it important to have a certain colour whether one is a boy or a girl. In the practical part, I conducted a survey among pupils from first to fifth grade in two elementary schools. The obtained data are analyzed and displayed as graphs or diagrams.

Primerjala sem učbenike, učitelje in učne pripomočke nekoč in danes. Opisala sem zgodovino, nastanek in oblike šolske torbe.
