Discussion about folk and authorial songs in preschool |
Secondary abstract: |
In thesis I focus on discussion about folk songs and authorial poems in preschool period. Folk songs and authorial poems are important element in Slovenian cultural space, therefore it is important to present them equally and as much as possible to younger generation. The purpose of my thesis is to figure out, how much are folk songs and authorial poems represented in kindergarten Mengeš as well as how are both types of songs accepted by children. I have done two researches with help of a questionnaire for preschool teachers and adapted interview for children. First research included 22 preschool teachers from kindergarten Mengeš, while the second research included children from the group named Čebelice, who answered on questions after the activity. I found out that children like listen to both folk songs and authorial poems. Children were bothered by the songs, which are too long and therefore harder to understand. In educational work preschool teachers often include both types of songs, but in music activities they often include only authorial poems. I also found out that the preschool teachers’ years of service have fairly strong impact on use of folk song in educational work, but on the other side it has weak influence on use of authorial poems in educational work. |

Abstract (ePrints): |
Vzgojiteljice v vzgojno delo pogosto vnašajo obe zvrsti, vendar v glasbene dejavnosti pogosteje vključijo predvsem avtorske pesmi. |
