Secondary title: Creative movement in fifth grade
Secondary abstract: The thesis deals with creative movement in the 5th grade. The theoretical part focuses on the influence of creative movement on pupils as well as on the teacher because we find it important. The opening chapter is dedicated to the notion of "movement" and the children's need to move and dance. Furthermore, the thesis touches on creativity, particularly how to influence the creativity in children and how to encourage it. It explains the method of creative movement and its impact on teachers and their work. The next chapter describes the types of movement activities and the significance of creative movement in the educational process. It presents the role of the teacher in creative movement and explains how important its interpretation is. One of the last chapters touches on research that were useful in our practical work in class. The theoretical part concludes by highlighting a number of concrete examples of integrating creative movement into individual subject lessons. The empirical part examined the influence of creative movement on the mood, creativity and non-verbal expression. The purpose of the thesis was to stimulate my own reflection about teaching through creative movement in the 5th grade. As part of the research, the method of creative movement was introduced in a number of subjects, i.e. Slovene, mathematics, science, social science, sports and art education. Creative movement was included in various parts of nine lessons. Research results suggest that creative movement influences the creativity, mood and non-verbal expression of pupils.
