Secondary title: Two-dimensional art space and animal motive
Secondary abstract: In my diploma which consists of three chapters, I mainly studied the three- dimensional space formed on a surface. My interset was focused on the methodes of forming a three-dimensional illusion on a two-dimensional basis. The starting point of my research was based on the generative scheme of basic artistic elements, constructed by a famous slovenian art theorist Milan Butina. In my research I also included other areas of art theory, such as art variables, depth formation guides or three-dimensional space keys and perspective drawing. I merged all the mentioned fields into a sensible entirety of knowledge of forming three-dimensional space. Henceforth in the theoretical part I also described the development of the animal motive through classical and fine art history. The second (practical) part is a sintesis of two starting points: thorugh the process of my own creation I made four paintings and one drawing, covering the animal motive and then made a spatial analysis of the mentioned art works. In the third, pedagogical part I decided to analise the representation of different approaches of forming three-dimensional illusion on a sheet of painting paper in the 9th grade of primary school. My target group are students of the highest grade, because, based on the curriculum, in this stage their theoretical knowledge of forming illusionistic space is comprehensive enough, so they can each choose their own personal approach. The students completed their task through animal motive.
