Secondary title: | Model of a solar collector as a teaching tool |
Secondary abstract: | In my diploma thesis I am presenting the usage of a solar collector which may also serve as a teaching tool. I start with presenting the setup and usage of a standard solar collector which is nowadays used by many consumers to warm sanitary water and rooms. This presentation is followed by the description of a model of solar collector and its comparison to a standard solar collector. In the following I present and analyse the mesurements done with the model of solar collector. From these measurements I also calculated the power which the model of solar collector delivered, compared it to the theoretical power, and calculated the efficiency. Carrying out such measurements and their analysis is very suitable to include in the 8th and 9th class of primary schools to acquaint students with the alternative sources of energy. These measurements are the most appropriate to be done by students of higher classes of primary schools in a form of a technical or physical day. |
