Abstract

Cepljenje predšolskih otrok omeji in prepreči mnoge nalezljive bolezni, zaradi katerih bi lahko otroci težko zboleli, postali invalidi ali celo umrli. Po cepljenju se vzpostavi individualna imunost, tako, da cepljena oseba postane odporna proti bolezni. Glavni cilj cepljenja je, da vzpostavimo kolektivno odpornost in s tem preprečimo širjenje povzročiteljev, mnoge bolezni pa lahko tudi povsem izkoreninimo. Zelo pomembno vlogo pri cepljenju pa ima tudi medicinska sestra, ki otroka in starše pripravi na cepljenje, pojasni potek cepljenja, stranske učinke ter razreši dvome staršev.

Secondary abstract: Preschool children vaccination limit and prevent many infectious diseases, for which children become very sick, disabled or even die. After vaccination establish individual immunity and that's why vaccinated person becomes resistant to disease. The main aim of vaccination is to establish collective resistance and prevent the spread of pathogens and many diseases can be completely eradicated. Very important role in vaccination has nurse who prepare child and parents, explain the course of vaccination, side effects and clarify the doubts of the parents.
