Abstract

Secondary title: Influence of unsufficient and over sufficient post weld heat treatment on HAZ impact toughness of steel for elevated temperatures
Secondary abstract: The aim of this diploma work is to determinate proper temperature and time post weld heat treatment of HAZ on creep resistant steels after welding. With this procedure we get sufficient impact tougness and hardness. I focused on my experimental work, the weld simulation of samples and post weld heat treatment by different temperatures and time intervales with measure of impact toughness by instrumented charpy pendulum. The impact toughness is measured by Charpy metode, which determinates minimal imput of forze for braking the sample. The results showed, the temperature at 740 °C and 800 °C means unsufficient and oversufficient impact toughness and it is not appropriate. That leads us to conclusion that very small changes in heat treatmend have great influence on mechanical propertis of material.
