Abstract

V raziskovalnem delu so predstavljene metode raziskovanja, rezultati in izsledki raziskave. Izbrali smo deset najbolj pogosto rabljenih tehnologij, na podlagi katerih smo izvedli deskriptivno analizo. Rezultati prikazujejo najbolj zastopane tehniške inovacije in njihov nivo rabe.

Secondary title: Innovation analysis in Slovenian manufacturing companies
Secondary abstract: The Master's thesis presents condition in the field of innovativeness in Slovene manufacturing companies and it is based on European Manufacturing Survey (EMS) 2012. Firstly, the theoretical part of the thesis introduces the concept of innovation. Furthermore, the division of innovations is presented with the focus on technological innovations. This is followed by a overview of analyses in the field of innovativeness in Slovene manufacturing companies, which to a great extent confirm positive impact of innovations on companies’ performance and productivity. The empirical part includes the course of the research which is followed by results and the presentation of results. We selected ten most commonly used technologies and on that basis we conducted the descriptive analysis. The analysis shows us which technological innovations are used most commonly and how high is their rate of usage. The descriptive analysis on field of investments in research and development, cooperation on innovation and sources of innovations were conducted as well. We also presented correlation between innovativeness and companies’ performance. The conclusion represents long-term companies' investment in the technological equipment, where there is shown a negative investment trend in technological up-date. The Master’s thesis draws attention to the fields, where improvements are needed and where Slovene manufacturing companies fall behind global competition.
