Abstract

Hkrati smo dolžine poti merili in jih primerjali z dolžinami pred uporabo aplikacije. V teoretičnem delu smo opisali osnove tržnega komuniciranja, ki zajema velik del posla prodajnega zastopnika, se dotaknili logistike in optimiziranja poti, na kratko opisali mobilne naprave in večkriterijsko odločanje.

Secondary title: SALES REPRESENTATIVE PATH OPTIMIZATION WITH MOBILE APPLICATION
Secondary abstract: The aim of this thesis was to measure the length of the route a sales representative makes during his daily work and to establish the savings that could be achieved through its shortening with the use of publicly available mobile applications for route optimisation. Since accurate information about the length of the route for the past months existed, the focus of the exercise was a selection of the most practical mobile application. Five applications were chosen and shortly tested, the most useful was then determined with the use of “DEXi” program, a computer application for multi-attribute decision making. Selected application was then tested for another month by following the optimized routes proposed by the application. Comparison among new and previously measured routes was carried out simultaneously. Theoretical part of the thesis contains a description of basics of marketing communication, which represents an important part of work of a sales representative, logistics and route optimization, brief description of mobile devices and multi-attribute decision making process.
