Abstract
Razumevanje razlik med upravljanjem znanja in informacijsko tehnologijo je ključ do pravilne uporabe informacijske tehnologije za upravljanje znanja. Obstajajo stvari, ki jih lahko naredimo bolje s pomočjo tehnologije, in stvari, ki jih delamo bolje ljudje. Naloga managerjev in praktikov znanja je, da te razlike razumejo in da pri upravljanju znanja uporabijo pristop, ki je v določenem trenutku najbolj primeren. V tem delu smo z obravnavanjem teoretičnih spoznanj pokazali na dejavnike, ki vplivajo na upravljanje znanja in izbiro informacijske tehnologije. Z metodo strukturiranega intervjuja smo raziskali primernost informacijskih tehnologij za upravljanje znanja v majhnih skupinah v družbi Aerodrom Ljubljana, d. d. S sintezo teoretičnih spoznanj in rezultatov kvalitativne raziskave smo predlagali izboljšave pri uporabi informacijske tehnologije za upravljanje znanja v majhnih skupinah.

Understanding differences between knowledge management and information technology is a key factor for proper implementation of information technology in knowledge management process. We have to understand that some things are better done by humans and some by information technology. Understanding the differences and choosing right approach is key task for knowledge managers and knowledge practitioners. We examined the existing body of knowledge in the field of knowledge management and exposed key factors that affect knowledge management and selection of information technology for knowledge management. We interviewed key representatives in the aviation industry in Slovenia to conduct research about proper use of information technology for knowledge management in small groups in the company Aerodrom Ljubljana, d. d. We proposed improvements in using information technology for knowledge management in small groups. |
