magistrsko delo univerzitetnega študijskega programa Arhitektura

Abstract

Ostanek zidu obstoječe arhitekture ohranja historično podobo ulice oziroma Glavnega trga, poleg tega pa smo območje naredili bolj prehodno in prijazno do pešcev. Nov objekt oživi staro mestno jedro in mu daje prepoznavno identiteto.

Secondary title: THE MUSEUM OF TEXTILE AND CLOTHING CULTURE IN SEVNICA
Secondary abstract: Sevnica has developed into an industrial town and is known primarily for its textile industry. The town got its urban image through an increase in the textile industry in the 20th century when the town started to grow. This led to a new part of the town. The master’s degree paper attempts to provide a solution to old town centres which have become increasingly deserted and populated primarily by the older population. The inclusion of a new building harmonised with the existing architecture of the old Sevnica town will result in a higher quality of life in the old town centre. The remaining wall of the existing architecture maintains the historic image of the street and the main square; at the same time the area was made more accessible and pedestrian friendly. The new building brightens up the old town centre and gives it a more recognisable identity.
