Abstract

Podjetja so danes izpostavljena globalnemu trgu in konkurenci. Obstaja več različnih tipov podjetij, med njimi najdemo invalidsko podjetje. Takšno podjetje mora zaposlovati najmanj štirideset odstotkov zaposlenih s statusom invalidne osebe. Poslovanje in upravljanje takšnega podjetja prinaša dodatne izzive in omejitve. Preučili smo upravljanje v konkretnem invalidskem podjetju in glavne vplive na upravljanje. Simulirali smo uporabo sedmih prednostnih pravil in treh hevrističnih metod.

Secondary title: Production management in a company with restrictions of the employees
Secondary abstract: Nowadays companies are exposed to the global competition. There are various types of companies, including the social enterprise (a company employing disabled people). In this kind of a company at least 40% of the employees are disabled. The management of the social enterprise is in various ways restricted and therefore challenging. The postgraduate work focuses on the management and the main influences on the management in a company employing disabled people. The most important influence, namely the absence of the employees due to the sick-leave, was selected using the AHP method. The data on the phenomenon was collected for six consecutive years and a new unit – the number of hours of absence per employee - was introduced. It was analysed using extrapolation and correlation methods and the results show that the occurrence of the phenomenon through time is random. The absence equals 13.3 hours/month on average per an employee. A moderate decline through time is evident. The ways of production management with the emphasis on priority rules were studied. A simulation of scheduling thirty work orders to fifteen work places in the company "Center ISI" was conducted. Seven priority rules and three heuristic methods were simulated to be applied. The use of the heuristic methods shows better results, particularly the SB Routine/sum (T) method which minimizes the sum of the delay time of all work orders. Flow time as a possible tool for production management was studied. Evidently some of the elements of flow time are used when planning. Observation and the use of flow time are recommended. During the creation of the present work some practical action on production management improvement was taken. The rule of two competent employees per each critical work place was applied. Regular weekly meetings to coordinate the available (human) sources were introduced. It is also necessary to emphasize the financial and social role of companies employing disabled people as they enable all the employees regardless of their medical condition to contribute their share and find their position in the society.
