Abstract

V magistrskem delu se lotimo optimizacije odvoza odpadkov v podjetju Kostak, d. d., saj je temu področju v slovenskih komunalnih podjetjih po naših opažanjih posvečeno premalo pozornosti. Skladno s proučenimi raziskavami ugotovimo, da je s sistematično in računalniško podprto izvedbo optimizacije možno prihraniti tudi več tisoč evrov na leto, kar bo tudi namen magistrskega dela. Optimizacijo zaradi naraščanja količine ločeno odloženih odpadkov izvedemo le na primeru odvoza odpadkov z zbiralnic oziroma z ekoloških otokov (frakcije plastika, pločevina, steklo in papir). Ugotavljamo, da smo z optimizacijo in izboljšanjem rezultatov znižali število kilometrov za 24,7 %, kar glede na stroške vožnje predstavlja 63.984 evrov prihranka na letni ravni. V nadaljevanju razmislimo tudi o najbolj učinkoviti implementaciji optimizacijskih predlogov, kjer želimo hkrati odpraviti tudi ugotovljene slabosti, ki smo jih opazili pri izdelavi kritične analize obstoječega stanja.

Secondary title: Waste collection optimization in company Kostak
Secondary abstract: In this thesis we will optimize the waste collection in company Kostak, JSC. According to our observations, this area receives insufficient attention in Slovenian communal companies. After some examined studies of this topic, we found out that a systematic and computer supported optimization can save several thousand euros, what will be our primary objective of this thesis. Because there is a positive growing trend of sorted waste disposed in so-called “Eco-islands” we will focus only on collection of plastics, metal, glass and paper fractions. We achieved 24.7 % reduction of mileage, what in relation to the driving costs, means no less than 64,984 euros savings on an annual basis. Moreover we also consider about the most effective implementation of optimization results, where we focused on the fact that we eliminate as many of the identified weaknesses, which we observed in the existing situation.
